Changelog
Every update to Argusmetrics, documented. We ship often and communicate everything.
Completely redesigned visitor identification. IP addresses are now truncated to /24 subnet before hashing, combined with a daily-rotating salt, site domain, and server-side secret. This approach follows CNIL guidance and eliminates any possibility of cross-day visitor tracking.
Ask plain-language questions about your analytics data — "Which pages drove the most signups last week?" — and get immediate answers powered by DeepSeek.
Reworked database query patterns with TimescaleDB continuous aggregates. Most dashboards now load in under 300ms.
UTM source, medium, and campaign parameters are now correctly attributed even when referrer headers are absent.
Track any user action — button clicks, form submissions, video plays — as a named event. Set conversion goals and monitor funnel completion rates over time.
Export any date range of analytics data in CSV or JSON format directly from the dashboard. Useful for reporting, archiving, or feeding into external BI tools.
The live visitor count now updates every 30 seconds without a full page reload. Shows active pages alongside the total count.
SPAs using history.pushState now correctly register navigation events, giving accurate bounce rates for React, Vue, and similar frameworks.
Argusmetrics is now open to everyone. Thank you to every beta tester who helped shape the product.
Track revenue, orders, and product performance without sending personal purchase data. Aggregate revenue metrics only — never individual transaction data.
Query your analytics data programmatically. Full API documentation available at argusmetrics.io/docs.
Starter, Pro, and Business plans launched with Stripe billing. The free tier remains available with no time limit.
The tracking script was rewritten from scratch in vanilla JavaScript. At under 4KB minified, it's lighter than a typical analytics icon.
Define page-view goals (e.g. /thank-you) and track what percentage of your visitors complete them. Segment goal completions by source, country, or device.
Manage multiple websites from a single account. Each site is fully isolated — data, settings, and team members can be configured independently.
Compare any two date ranges side-by-side directly in the dashboard. Presets include this week, last 30 days, this month, this quarter, and this year.
Argusmetrics opened to a closed group of 50 testers. Core analytics pipeline validated at production traffic volumes.
