Our Mission
We believe that web analytics doesn't have to come at the cost of user privacy. Argusmetrics gives you the numbers that matter without tracking people across the web, without cookies, and without collecting personal data. The source is open under the AGPL-3.0, so you can check that for yourself rather than taking our word for it.
Privacy First
No cookies, no cross-site tracking, and the visitor's IP address is never stored. A visitor on one site cannot be linked to a visit on another.

Why We Built This
We were tired of the complexity and privacy concerns of traditional analytics tools. Google Analytics is overkill for most websites, and its tracking practices raise serious privacy questions.
Existing privacy-focused alternatives were great, but often closed-source or locked behind a subscription. We wanted to build something that was:
- Truly privacy-respecting (no cookies, no tracking)
- Free and open source (AGPL-3.0)
- Honest about what it stores, and never selling it on
- Simple to run (clone the repo and start with Docker Compose)
- Built on modern, maintainable technology
Argusmetrics is the result: free, open source, privacy-first, and without the compromises on features or usability that usually come with those words.
